A childhood in hell

“Memories belong only to us. They are both burdens and treasures,” says Isabelle Müller. In her book “Phoenix Daughter,” however, she makes a major exception—she shares her memories. Firstly, because she wanted to keep a promise and create a memorial for her late mother, Loan. Secondly, she wanted to set an example and encourage desperate people. “Anyone can do what I’ve achieved,” she says with complete conviction in an interview with “DIE NEUE FRAU.”
