He hopped so high that his head hit the branch of an old oak tree and he tumbled to the ground. Dazed, he realized that this was not the right solution to reach the Land of Ellsaby.On the lawn in front of him he saw a large dandelion.
“That’s it!”, he thought, “I’ll fly up!”
He picked a large bunch of dandelions.It didn’t take long. The wind picked up and Hip Hop began to soar. He hadn’t got far when a robin, with its beak wide open, shot out of the blue sky!
“Hey… What are you doing?!”, Hip Hop cried out in fear.
When he noticed that the bird was about to eat him, he quickly let go and landed on the ground with a thud.After this mishap, Hip Hop built a helmet out of a grain of wheat.
He was just trying it on when he saw human children blowing soap bubbles.
“Yes, that’s it!”, thought Hip Hop. “I need something like that! And as big as possible!”
He rushed to Piet, the specialist in big things. “Of course I can help you”, said Piet. “I’ll take the bottle of liquid soap from Mr. Patschum when he cleans my enclosure. I’ll make you the biggest soap bubble you’ve ever seen! But promise me that you’ll come back from the Land of Ellsaby to tell us about it.”
