The new Lunar Year of the Dog began on February 16, 2018, a year in which, they say, everything is set in motion and individual effort and daring are rewarded with success. In fact, the first few months of 2018 have already brought me a lot of joy, a joy that I really want to share with you.
Apart from the fact that my book “Loan – From the life of a phoenix” has repeatedly taken first place in the amazon ranking in various categories in Germany, this work was translated into Vietnamese and has now been successfully presented to Vietnamese readers at a nationwide press conference in Ho Chi Minh City, just in time for International Women’s Day on March 8th. The book was received with great enthusiasm in Vietnam. The Baden-Württemberg state TV show reported on it live on March 15, 2018.
The royalties from book sales are likely to grow considerably as a result, so that our charitable educational projects for the benefit of children from ethnic minorities in northern Vietnam can be realized well and confidently.
The first few months of this new year have also been very emotional. Not only because “Loan” has now returned to her home country of Vietnam, but also because I was able to personally present the Vietnamese version of “Loan – From the Life of a Phoenix” to my mother’s last living friend Ngoc (90 years old in December) in France.
I will concentrate on further goals (including the positive development of the LOAN Foundation, translations of the work, screenplay) and let the pieces of the puzzle of my life come together.
